About Cat's Whiskers
Two decades ago information technology was quite basic; we hope those recalling that era will excuse the pun. Today it has both breadth and depth. There are many disciplines, each quite sufficient to occupy the full mental and ability capacities of any aspiring expect.
IT professionals, like doctors of medicine, now have to specialise. The choice is master on one or master of none. This concept was at the root of the original group of specialist partners forming the HiperNet Group in 1996.
In 2004 a group section focused on the Web and became the Web Weavers Workshop; a designer, a computer scientist and a programmer. Web Weavers exists today and has two language sections; the Web Weavers Workshop for English speaking business and 4Folios for Spanish. Both are primarily concerned with medium to larger business projects requiring VPS or dedicated servers and database technology.
In late 2007 it was felt that the private and small business market was being neglected - and the Cat's Whiskers Web Design and Hosting was born. Copy writing and SEO associates joined the team. Larger businesses tend to have these talents in house but the smaller business market had a great demand for these essential skills.
In Cat's Whiskers we are six - four permanent partners and our two new associate copy and web marketing experts.
